I was shocked by how beautiful and huge the property was. Rod and Heidi went out of their way to make our family feel like we were VIP. I hadn't expected a full farm experience and was eager to be led around a shown all areas. Milking the cow was a highlight for the kids...and scratching the hogs back...and choosing eggs for the roost...we are all still talking about it. I loved Rod's idea of having a working weekend - building a bunkhouse to house some of us city slickers who would like to spend a weekend at the farm being farmers!
