Once a month your family will receive an average of 20 lbs. of pastured meats and 3-dozen eggs (for the half share, you receive 10 lbs of meat and 2 dozen eggs)! For larger families, check out our NEW "FAMILY SHARE" option below! This is a monthly program. We don't require a signed contract, we are confident you will want your family to enjoy the health benefits from Rolling Hills Farm 's natural meats and eggs and continue with us on a monthly basis. You can join our CSA family at any time as we are a year round program.
Payment can be made prior to your monthly pick up or the day of your pick up by cash or check.
An example of a full share would be: 1 whole pastured chicken, 4 lbs. ground beef, beef chuck roast, 4 pk. steaks, soup bones, 2 pounds ground seasoned sausage, pork chops - plus 3 dozen eggs. (This is an example - meats cuts will vary monthly...and by season!)
Varieties of meat cuts you can expect: Beef (ground, roasts, steaks - filet, porterhouse, sirloin, New York-, stewing, soup bones, flank, ribs, beef liver), Pork (chops, ribs, roasts, sage seasoned ground sausage), whole chicken and your eggs. Thanksgiving Turkey* will be in the November Full Share and the Family Share! You can purchase turkeys and Christmas Hams separate WHILE THEY LAST. Please reserve separate turkeys and hams EARLY as we sell out fast.
We do offer additions to your monthly CSA ( human grade organ meat, soup bones, and select meat cuts), email us for monthly availability.
We now offer our *NEW* FAMILY SHARE! For our larger families looking for the best value, we offer approximately 37 lbs. of meat and 4 dozen eggs per month! *The Family Share does not come with a "no pork" option*
(*turkey not included in half share - turkeys are limited-must be CSA member by March of 2011 for a November Turkey)
